Born in 1983 in Poznan, Poland. Director, screenwriter and producer, founder of Wild Mouse Production. Graduated in film production from the Film School in Łódź. She worked as a 1st AD on many feature films and television series (including Agnieszka Holland’s Oscar nominated IN DARKNESS). She has directed for theatre, including Edward Albee’s THE GOAT OR WHO IS SYLVIA and Tuvia Tenenbom’s THE LAST JEW IN EUROPE. Her short film MORNING HAS BROKEN (2017) opened at Raindance, while 3XLOVE (2016) won the Grand Prix at Distances Short Film Festival in Dublin.

Her feature debut NINA (2018) premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, winning the VPRO Big Screen Award, as well as the Polish Film Competition at Camerimage and best film in Visions Apart Competition at Gdynia Film Festival. In 2018 she became one of four women to direct the first Polish Netflix original series 1983. She directed the third season of the HBO’s THE BORDER, which brought her the Polish Film Academy Award in 2020.

Throughout the years she directed number of award winning TV shows, amongst which THE DEEP END (Winner of Gold Plaque at the Chicago International Film Festival and Prix Europa at the Prix Italia awards). She was a formatting director for TVPs THE SEER (ZA MARZENIA) and together with Kasia Adamik created Netflix Original dramatic series CRACOW MONSTERS. Together with Kasia Adamik, Anna Jadowska, Anna Kazejak and Jagoda Szelc she directed the first Polish feature for Netflix EROTICA 2022 (Special Mention at Ischia Film Festival).

In July 2023 her second feature film IMAGO opened in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival winning the Fipresci Award and Silver Lions at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. She co-directed a German-Luxembourg-Belgian historical series for Arte and SWR, A WORLD DIVIDED and a France TV/RAI/ZDF series KABUL.

Her third feature film GRANDPA, LET’S GO will be released in 2025.
